That's Ruth Gordon!
I've seen this movie twice, never bothered to look over the credits till now. Can't believe that Ehrlich's wife is played by Ruth Gordon, she sure looks a lot different than she does in Harold and Maude and later movies.
shareYeah she was the funny old lady "Ma Boggs" is Every Which Way But Loose starring Clint Eastwood. It is always interesting seeing what some of the older actors & actresses that we grew up with during the 60s,70s and 80s looked like back when they were much much younger. I've seen her in Abe Lincoln in Illinois (1940)
I sure would like to see what she looked like though in The Whirl of Life (1915) - she had a small role as an extra and was only 18 or 19 years old.
