I can't remember the particular episode, but there was a Seinfeld show where Jerry refers to either Kramer or George as Dr Cyclops.
Surprising that a low budget B-movie with an almost no name cast was made in color at that time(1939). Only a few big budget movies were in color then.

shareThe color really sells it. Love that Paramount back lot. It's beautifully made if rather simple as to the science and characterization. It was nice seeing Frank Reicher, King Kong ship's captain, in a small role in the beginning. Good movie, it might have been a classic with a better script, faster pace.
shareI watched this 1940 stinker for the umpteenth time! I love this silly stuff and almost never miss Svengoolie! Not a great movie but plenty entertaining and for1940 it was way ahead of its time for sure!
