Never thought to see Lucille Ball playing the glamorous one! Not only did she do a great job with it, she practically stole the show!

Typically RKO-style sophisticated New York movie, though the script is from Vicki Baum! She of Grand Hotel fame.

Everything works pretty well, except maybe some scenes at the end are a bit rushed, along with the story.

Another one of those fascinating behind-the-scenes of a show film that needs to be seen more.
