Do we ever find out what the wire said? I was dozing off while watching it and I didn't know if I missed something.
shareI assume you're referring to the wire Peggy sent Danny. If so, no we never actually saw what she said but we know the gist of it based on the context of what happens.
Basically, she let him know that all the things she said to him; all the plans they made; their wonderful future together that would begin in just two short weeks, was not to be. I'm sure she made her apologies but said they got another booking that she simply could not pass up... blah, blah, blah.
