Charlotte Arren Fanny Brice Imitation

That is Charlotte Arren a minor vaudevillian doing an imitation of Fanny Brice's comic opera singer bit.... right down to the facial expression. I'm surprised Fanny let that get by her.

. . . not to mention the bit she stole from Bea Lillie ( lifting her long skirt up and roller-skating off) !

She cost MGM a lot less than Brice or Lillie would have.

That bit was painful to watch. She looked grotesque; like one of the pinheads from Freaks.
