an old classic...

a good movie, but nail biting real life. And considering it was between great wars.
In todays world common citizens are no match for trained people with a mission, especially when they can be called, minorities; ethnic protections, class protections, and racial protections, or if they are openly ANTI nation they are in and involved in government, or have a REAL purpose in knocking down the country they are in. And the citizens can do very little to protect themselves when the spys become protected in spying activities by Law, and Business, and can amass great fortunes to upset a countries economy.

Food for thought.
A good romp when we are young and innocent, a bad trip when we are old and have a few parties under our belts.

This is a first class Warner "B". Everything works here. Karloff made some wonderful "B"'s. Checkout Invisible Ray.

my favorites are Harlow and Garbo. I guess I'm just an old fashion guy

Better than "Freckles Comes Home" and forgotten by most everyone.

Let it be unsaid: insignificance is the locus of true increpation.

I mostly agree. I would like to point out that it was not released "between the great wars" as far as the subject nations, Britain and Germany, were concerned. Remember that May 1940 to June 1941 was the famous year that Britain alone was fighting against Germany and Italy for the freedom of the western world.
