What's the best original version of this on DVD?


Anyone know which DVD video version of this film is the best quality, like the print they show on TCM? I wonder if the Warner Archive is planning to release this.

Dejael, did you see Beyond Tomorrow in decent quality on TCM recently?

I'm just now viewing an Oct. 2014 recording I made of BT from TCM and it's really awful, despite the opening credits claiming restoration. The Xmas trees especially look like some really bad VHS dub, [as related to in the Trivia section].

Bless TCM for all their efforts, but this showing had some serious technical problem.

No, I'm sorry I missed it. I understand there was a good transfer of this movie on VHS Videotape back in the 1980s, but those are few and far between now, especially since videotape is so unstable and has become obsolete. If someone found a good copy of this, they could make a DVD-R of it.
However, I prefer a studio master from a 35mm film print.

I got that DVD, it too is looking pretty bad. Oh well..
