Beyond Tomorrow: Sublime Opening Music! & Film Quality

Movie girl: Does anyone know the title of the superb opening music of this wonderful 1940 film? I have a very good copy on DVD in a boxed set, so was surprised to hear that was difficult to get. But the music and the profound saying at the beginning stayed with me since I was a child of 9 or 10 and saw this great film on TV.

In the 1980's (and I still have a copy on VHS) we taped the film on Movies Till Dawn. This last Christmas I viewed it again - from the VHS, as it was fun to see the 1983 commercials.
