This exchange of dialogue near the end of the film is some of the best in all of Fields films...

Mr. Archibald Bel-Goodie: You absent yourself from this house immediately! You pharisee... you pecksniff... you egregious tartuffle!
Whipsnade: Tartuffle? Is that good or bad?
Mr. Archibald Bel-Goodie: You're a fraud, a charlatan and a rogue, sir!
Whipsnade: Oh, is that in my favor?

You egregious tartuffle! I use it all the time.

I love that exchange! Was "tartuffle" just a word they made up for this film? It sounds like a delicacy.
