All the Major Stars Had Their Own Camera People

I remember seeing Virginia Grey (Pat from the perfume counter) talking about this movie on TCM. She was borrowed from another film for what was suppose to be a very short movie shoot. That one brief part she was in lasted a week. She mentioned that all of the principal players had their own camera people and lighting, which made everything so much longer.

I was watching this movie again tonight, and for the first time I actually noticed the different lighting on the major players. (Guess I haven't been too observant before! HA) Everyone did look great. I might add, Virginia Grey was funny in her small part, as well as gorgeous. Wish we would have seen more of her in this movie.

Wow is this really true?! :o
Interesting.. i think thats quite silly and time consuming but on the other hand, very clever as everyones face is different (ego's too) and so each would look their best in their own lighting.!
But im going to watch this again now probably for the 89 millionth time and see if i can notice the changes! thanks!
Plus ,have you seen Virginia Grey in 'Unconquered' with Gary Cooper and Paulette Goddess? She's good in that too!

Hollywood isnt home but it sure is purdy
