The late night kitchen scenes of the maid and the lady cook lamenting the Haines' marriage is downright HYSTERICAL. That cook had pearls of wisdom, summing up all the woes and drama! "Sure I believe in marriage!! For WOMEN, but it's the sons of Adam that they gotta marry."

shareI love those two! Even though the blonde maid was eavesdropping, her over-the top dialogue was hysterical, esp when she runs back downstairs & tells the cook " Oh, I want some more coffee, I'm done in". I have to watch that entire scene twice it's so funny.
shareThe blonde maid was a little too good at acting and sounding like Mrs. Haines (Mary). Even the cook said: "Say, your a pretty good actress."
