Will this movie get banned?
Gone with the Wind recently got banned. Will the same fate happen to Wizard of Oz because:
- it has no black people
- it has little people
- the bad guy wears black
- it portrays its gay character as a coward

share"its gay character"
There is nothing in the book or movie to indicate that the lion is gay. In the movie, he talks like Bert Lahr talked in all his movies and stage performances. Lahr was not gay.
The flying monkeys were black people, or close enough.
shareOh, come off of it! Wizard of Oz will not get banned. It's popular with all kinds of people.
shareGone with the Wind was not banned. HBO Max removed it from its streaming service a for while, but no one had to give up their copies on DVD, tape etc.
shareAnd that's a big reason why streaming services absolutely suck balls and having your own personal copy whether physical or digital will always be the better option. I'm the only person who removes a movie from my library.
