The witch is innocent of all charges.

Terrorist threats: Threatening to turn the tin man into a beehive, threatening to drown toto, threatening to kill Dorothy in an unknown way.

Tin men have no rights. Animals had no rights. The fact she didn't specify a way means that it won't hold up in court.

Attempted murder: Setting the scarecrow on fire. Throwing the fire ball at all of them.

The scarecrow has no rights as a human and he was trespassing.

Drug possession: The poppies.

Legal in 1939

Kidnapping: Via the winged monkeys.

She was protecting her property rights. Dorothy and friends went there to explicitly kill the Witch.

Enslavement: She definitely wasn’t paying the winkies.

Yes she was. She loaned them money to buy houses and that's why they chant "All we own, we owe her!"

Tin Man

Vandalism: Breaking the Wizard's flower pot to make a crown for his buddy.

Indecent Exposure: He's naked. Well, so are the Cowardly Lion and Toto, but I don't think animals count. XD

reply

Tin men have no rights.

The Tin Man is a cyborg and a member of the species Homo sapiens. So he does have rights in all decent legal systems.

Killing of a extinct species :::

The lion's costume was a real lion's skin.. Bert was sweating under those heavy lights and having to dance too..

reply

Glinda

theft: She stole the slippers from the witch.

How do you figure that it wasn't like she went and took them right off her feet

I thought this thread might be about the munchkins groping her on the set. Her ex husband claimed this happened.
