Watching Tail Spin Right Now

It's on TCM and is building to the climax. It is a good entertaining movie. Pretty good production values and the ladies are all lovely.

The close ups on the flying scenes near the end are very well done. It almost makes it look like the ladies are actually flying the planes.

The photography in Tail Spin is really good for what appears to be a "B Movie".

That's not surprising because the cinematographer here was Karl Freund, a pioneer in motion picture photography. He did many innovative things over the years to make his pictures look really good.
