good all around, packed into 78 minutes... good acting by all, albeit in a pretty un-likely plot.

I was about 30 minutes into the movie before I realized it was a remake of "Evelyn Prentice". I enjoyed it, though. I love anything with Walter Pidgeon.

That's interesting. I had never heard of Evelyn Prentice but when I looked it up I discovered Myrna Loy is in that movie. I just saw another movie Society Lawyer starring Walter Pidgeon that was also a remake of a Myrna Loy movie, Penthouse. How strange! I can't wait to see Evelyn Prentice. Thanks for mentioning it!
