originally meant to be based on Seymore Allende's play "A Stench from Maracaibo" but this got made instead and what a stinker it is!

Not so bad. It moved along at a good clip and I liked the muscle sidekick detective playing a smarter observer than the detective.

shareIt really seemed like it was supposed to be another installment of the "Torchy Blane" series. In this one Wyman is a female private detective, still has a cop as a long-time fiance, and the cop has a side-kick who has a penchant for playing with little puzzles instead of coming up with poetry.
