Calling Dr. Kildare - Filmed Together?

TCM is showing On Borrowed Time as I type. I've seen this fine film before and am enjoying the sad tale as much this time as earlier. I've also watched most all of the Kildare/Gillespie movies. This time, I noticed something. These two movies have some striking similarities.

Barbara Bedford
Phillip Terry
Dorothy Adams
Howard C. Hickman

The following crew worked on both as well:

Harold S. Bucquet (Director)
Cedric Gibbons (Art Director)
Edwin B. Willis (Set Decorator)
Douglas Shearer (Recording Director)
Leonid Raab (Orchestrator)

Both were released in 1938 and, of course, they were both MGM productions.

I know that many of these actors were rather prolific, so it wouldn't surprise me to see a few of them together from time to time. I've just never seen two non-related classic movies share so much cast and crew.
