when pretell the dvd?????

This is one of many films that came out in 1939 that were and still 10 out of 10 rating on films....this is a brilliant western and one of the first that dealt with the Oklahoma Land Rush in the late 1890s....the most recent I believe is Ron Howards brilliant FAR AND AWAY...this film stars James Cagney and Humphrey Bogart and yes, Ward Bond...and Warner Bros, which is the studio I have the most dvds from, has yet to release this film on dvd.....but if and when it gets released and is the quality and love and care of the latest releases of their classics i.e. Casablanca, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, many others...it will be worth the wait....however it is ran on TCM several times a year and I already have it taped, but I am sure the dvd quality will be the best looking and sounding it has ever been...what I like about older westerns in general is the lack of silly fake southern accents...I am from the south and not everone in the west had the same accent, most were immigrants and would have their native language or accented English....A good example is Paint Your Wagon or Heavens Gate....a more recent example is Silverado, Dances with Wolves, and Open Range, ironically all with Kevin Costner...now Lonesome Dove had southern accents or rather Texan accents and Robert Duvall can do one of the best regional accents of any actor alive, so can Chris Cooper and there are some British and Australian actors that can do American accents fairly well..Mel Gibson sees to have lost most of his accent...but he was an American to start with anyway.....
