This movie has a cameo in Raging Bull

An interesting bit of movie trivia not widely known: In the scene where Jake La Motta (Robert De Niro) is probing his brother (Joe Pesci) about whether he had sex with his wife or not, this movie is playing very faintly on the TV in the background. Scorsese no doubt picked this film for a cameo due to the similarities between the Curly character played by Bob Steele and La Motta. Both men are insanely paranoid about their wives cheating on them.
