Favourite quotes

There are too many to mention every one of them, but for some unfathomable reason the following line never fails to crack me up:

"You are very talkative." (Said slowly, complete with a stern gaze.)

Those who haven't seen the film won't know what I am talking about. It really is one of those things that you "have to be there" - i.e. you have to see and hear it for yourself - to appreciate it... :)

I also like:

Ninotchka: We don't have men like you in my country.

Ninotchka: Must you flirt?
Count Leon d'Algout: Well, I don't have to, but I find it natural.

Perhaps my favourite one is:

Ninotchka: "How can such a civilisation survive which permits their women to put things like that on their heads?! Won't be long now comrades..."

The "Do you whip him?" quote is also extremely funny...
