Deleted kissing scene?

Read somewhere that there was a kissing scene shot between Bonita Granville and Frankie Thomas, but it was later deleted from the movie. Does anyone have more information about this? What part of the movie would this scene fit in? And what led to the kissing in the first place? Does Ted finally admit that despite all of his complaining about Nancy's schemes, he truly cares for her?

I'm afraid I don't have any information regarding this (where did you receive yours?) but I do know that the language menu for Nancy Drew Trouble Shooter has a picture of them kissing--though I always just assumed that was from a publicity shot. The outfits they're wearing kinda do look like what they were wearing at that society shindig thing, though. So assuming that's true, the scene would have to take place at the shingdig thing--because directly afterwards Ted's suit gets pretty messed up in the fire. But as one photo is colorized and the scene is shot in black and white, I really can't tell for sure.
God, I would love it if this is true and if there's still a copy of that deleted scene somewhere.

After doing some web research (oh I love the limitless time summer gives me!) I did find a little bit about this on Jennifer Fisher's website. Jennifer Fisher is apparently the foremost expert on Nancy Drew. So if she says this scene at some point existed, I'm inclined to believe her. I was't able to get much information from her website, though.

Now if I were Ted ... she wasn't the prettiest girl around but she was a gorgeous beauty!
