Hummmm....Either way, he sure did sleep soundly though....delivering ice must wear one out, I can imaging. Movie worth seeing just for the 'technology' or lack thereof....

I just watched the dvd copy of this movie and was sort of surprised that it didn't make some attempt to more closely follow the book. They changed the names of the supporting characters and as well as the plot details. It was a cute movie but just very loosely based on the character of Nancy Drew. Perhaps it would have been more popular at the time if they had not taken such a poetic license with the story.

Would that have been that difficult or unrealistic???? I remember reading a lot of the "Hardy Boys" series....but can't recall any of the stories. I thought these were great "change of pace" features.....
