This wonderful movie comes on Turner Classic Movie every so often. It amazes me that Hedy Lamarr's film works on DVD is so limited. Got to get them anyway you can.

I'd like to say first, that I don't condone pirating! Ok that being said there is a website called ioffer.com that has a couple of folks that record these old movies that are not available on dvd to a dvd-r disk and sell them, usually around $5 bucks. I've gotten 3 from them and the quality has been very nice, just as good as what you would see on tv. If you're desperate like I was I highly recommend them. The one I've ordered from is topcat77 I believe.
shareI've ordered many old movies from ioffer.com. I got several of Hedy Lamarr's movies from sellers there (my seller has the user name of therodman). Just do a search on her name on that website and the movie listings should show up. Video quality is very good and just like when I saw the movies on TV many years ago. Most of the DVD-R copies are from TCM cable broadcasts. Most are not available commercially. The movie has to be profitable in order for a studio to distribute a movie on the market. So, unless you have cable TV, buying from a "duplicator" is the only way to see these old movies. Personally, the money spent on these old movies are well worth it. Most of what is showing in movie theaters is a total waste of money.
sharenot to get into a long winded discussion way down in the comments section of a really obscure movie nobody could every possibly want to watch, i do find it interesting that suggesting certain avenues of finding old movies will get you deleted by the administrator, but somebody can diligently sit at their house and record the complete tcm catalog on dvd-r, probably make as many copies as there are customers and nobody says much.
