Great acting and an innovative story

I recorded this late late movie as I noticed John Barrymore in the lead and as i expected he was brilliant to watch, the children were terrific and his young daughter had an adult like mind, always looking out for Pop. Very pleasant movie indeed for a little 1939 RKO movie.
