If only these people would make some research, they would see that this story never was about slavery.
It is about an Irish-American Southern Belle and her life around and after the Civil War.
The character of Scarlett O'Hara was based on Margaret Mitchell's grandmother.
Slaves and their lives wouldn't be that important as they weren't the viewpoint characters.

That would be easily remedied. All they have to do is have a BLM Edit where they simply add the sounds of bullwhips cracking and people screaming in pain during more quiet scenes..

Luckily, it is not banned. They just added a disclaimer. Of course, you can argue that that is ridiculous enough.

I will be watching it on bluray. I refuse to get HBO.
