What a Sweet Movie!

They just don't make kind spirited movie like this anymore!
I adored it and look forward to seeing the others.

I just saw this myself while making breakfast. I watch TCM all the time but have never seen this or heard of the books. I'm glad I was not alone. It was such a treat.

All 4 Pepper films are very good. I discovered Edith fellows' fantastic acting by seeing these. Check her out in PENNIES FROM HEAVEN w/ crosby.Great actress!

It's on Youtube, I am watching it now. I have heard of the book, but never read it. Tommy Bond from Little Rascals fame is in it.

I just saw this movie today and loved it. I had the exact same sentiment as you: what a sweet movie! I recorded all four when TCM ran them back to back so I'm looking forward to watching those too.
