Watching a film like this can remind you that there are worse things America has gone through than the stupid housing bubble bursting.

But to most Americans the thought of freezing to death, having your loved ones tortured to death by wild Indians, starving, being trampled by livestock, sleeping on the floor, living in an unheated cabin with no running water and traveling hundreds of miles to the nearest 'store' would see them looking for someone to sue, or some bureaucratic agency to call to draft a complaint. We are now a nation of wimps and crybabies.
