Two Plantation Owning Black Sisters

This movie has two story elements hardly seen in films, today or in the 1930s. Two black sisters fighting over control of a Jamaican plantation. Well, only one ambitious one is actually fighting, the other is a bubble headed twit. Voodoo is thrown in for good measure.

The acting is on par with the stiff, unnatural style found in many other low budget and independent 1930s movies without all Black casts. It's a chance to see actors usually limited to servant roles play a diversity of characters.

Considering the relative lack of experience of both filmmakers and actors, the movie is pretty entertaining regardless of not being a huge Hollywood extravaganza.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
