Question about kids' song at end (Spoilers)

Destry gets choked up when he hears the kids singing "Little Joe". Uh, Frenchie sang that BEFORE Destry came to town!

reply

Do you think she was the only one to ever sing it? It was a popular ditty in the West. Maybe Destry heard her sing it off-screen. We don't actually see his every waking moment in real time, do we?

Agreed ^^. I hate making things up, but we can assume she sang that song all the time during her performances.

reply

Yes, that song and her performance of it means we can assume she performed it often.

reply

The song is also associated with Wash. It is safe to presume that Tom heard Wash sing it often, perhaps even back in the days when he was Destry's deputy.

"If this is music, what's that stuff Cole Porter writes?"
