Far Better

This film while not a masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination, is far better than the unrelentingly stilted version made by Germans in 1960. In fact I have a soft spot for it in my heart as the immortal line uttered by the blind murderer will echo forever there. "What's the matter,Lou?" Ahh, what memories it recalls!

There is a slight problem, though.

When Lugosi is disguised as an Englishman his accent is perfect - presumably he was dubbed. He is incapable of replicating the accent when acting as a German.

It is not Lugosi who speaks the immortal line, but you are correct about the dubbing. I like your handle name very much.

What is the meaning of meaning?
