It came to my attention, gradually, over the years that there were SO many movies made in 1939. Then, just when I'd thought I'd just about heard of them all, surely, here's another one! How the HELL many movies were produced in that ONE YEAR!?!? It boggles my mind. ~geez~

For wholesome Christian entertainment it does not get any better than this. A movie based on the Bible and a young girl's faith. Christianity 101. Simple, childlike faith guided by the Word of God. A breath of fresh air.
You're welcome, of course, to your personal proselytizing but my main point was the huge amount of movies that came out in 1939....it boggles my mind. More than any year ever.
