Cast the Remake

I have two of these on "The Thin Man" and "After the Thin Man" boards.

Nick Charles - Johnny Depp(reasons stated previously)

Nora Charles - Lacey Chabert(reasons stated previously)

Colonel Burr MacFay - Sean Connery, an excellent actor, but the role may be too small.

Lieutenant Guild - Giovanni Ribsi(reasons stated previously)

Lois MacFay - Kate Bosworth, a very good actress with a classic look. It would be a different role for her and I think she could do a very good job with it.

Church - George Clooney, a very good actor and again, a different role.

Smitty - Charlize Theron, a beautiful actress. She would be a very good Smitty if she could do the accent.

Dorothy Waters - Catherine Zeta-Jones, an excellent actress but again, it may too small of a role for her.

I can't think of actors for the other roles, such as Freddie, Dum-Dum, or Dudley Horn.
