There is a funny scene between Nick and the DA that is so priceless. It would be hard to describe here, but they are talking outside and they give each otehr a look and look away and then back again real quick.
I always wondered who was responsible for that bit or if it was just an accident.
I loved the first two but once Nicky Jr was around it was even funnier, don't you think?
Who was less prepared for fatherhood than Nick Charles?
At this point I've only seen the first three but so far this one is my favorite.
shareI enjoyed that scene referred to if only because I've never seen Otto Kruger, who played the DA, be at all funny before. The couple of other performances I've seen him give, he was quite serious, rather stiffly so, which made this even more amusing.
shareThe "look" was part of the sub-plot with Nick supposedly being revealed to have been quite the ladies man, which was part of the set-up for the comedy scenes later involving Nora sticking it to Nick, having learned about Nicks past girlfriends. And the Miss Dolly pay off... "Why that's the fastest piece of work I've ever seen."
