I had the film on as background and I gathered most of the plot but I missed what the relevance was of the music the woman heard from the window. Was Sherlock writing out the notes at 221B after - did anything result from this?
shareShe had heard the same tune when her father was murdered. the same tune was practiced earlier in Moriarty's office. Holmes figured out, I don't know how, that it was some sort of dirge from the Incas. I don't know if it helped his case, but it kept him from the Crown Jewels.
