He was puting fake...what?... in a...what?
Was it counterfeit money? It didn't seem that way.

He was printing advertisements for the fireworks with a Russian revolution theme and putting them in Essie's candy boxes, the FBI thought he was talking about a real revolution, that they were communists or fascists or something.

He was accused of being a "subversive." The inserts he put in the candy (advertising the family's fireworks display the upcoming 4th of July) said things like "Get ready for the Revolution"
