Wtf!

Ha, horrible movie.

The film is set in pre-civil war Louisiana.

Will you please stop trying to change history. It was what it was--and racial slurs are still around now, and probably forever.

I believe that was mild compared to the way they actually talked to their slaves. It was a dark part of our history and it's still not a "lesson learned." Still, I love the movie and can watch it over and over. Robert Young is such a lovable scoundrel and Adrian's costumes are wonderful.
