Torchy Gets Her Man? spoilers
I thought from the title maybe Torchy and Steve would get married in this installment of the series, but sadly it didn't happen. I wonder if they ever got married.
Nobody gets to be a cowboy forever.

In "Torchy Runs for Mayor" (1939) it seemed at the end they were finally going off to get married, but we don't see that. In the last film of the series, "Torchy Blane... Playing with Dynamite" (1939), which I haven't seen, the two leads have been replaced and they still haven't married.
