La Mala Hora (In Evil Hour) by Gabriel Marquez

I was up in the old gyrocopter the other day and I was reading In Evil Hour by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I very nearly went into an irreversible tailspin when I saw this film mentioned.

The Parish Priest bans watching this film at the cinema owing to a young man's funeral which had taken place earlier in the day.

I suppose it is possible that the film was popular in Colombia owing to the film being shot in Central America; probably a similar jungle-like milieu.
