I mean, look at him! Always thought he was one of the very best looking men in the history of film. Didn't completely buy his character, but...yowza!

This is my favorite Errol Flynn film probably because he didn't have the mustached in this one. He looked so handsome that when Louise's father said that she was still grieving over that man all I could think was that if Errol Flynn had left me I would be eating my heart out too.

joyce,

"This is my favorite Errol Flynn film probably because he didn't have the mustached in this one."

Ha! We must be related! I like to jokingly say that there are two kinds of Errol Flynn movies: the good ones and the bad ones. The good ones are the ones in which he doesn't have a mustache, while the bad ones are the ones in which he does.

You should see Gentleman Jim. Really fun film, Flynn looks incredible, and this fine actor who thought he was seen as nothing more than a movie star and yearned for respect as an actor, gives one of his best performances.

I haven't seen The Sisters yet, but, now I want to do so more than ever!

(Of course, I'm not really serious about the Good Flynn/Bad Flynn thing... He has a -- ugghhh -- mustache in several of his best films, including his best swashbucklers.)

He looked great in this film. What I also liked was a hint of an Australian accent.
