thinggs i liked about this movie

1. the scene where liberty thinks she is alone and she sees herself in the mirror and dances. the way it was lit, the camerawork, the overall feeling of freedom that it tried to convey to you. that scene alone makes it a very good for me as that scene just stays with me long after I saw the film.
2. the rehearsal scene towards the end. again because of how it was lit, edited and the camerawork.
3. the evolution of the relationship between Liberty and Charlie all throughout the movie. very heartwarming, sentimental.
4. The soundtrack in general. But the Harmonica playing just blew me away.
5. Vivian Leigh in suspenders. (just my little thing;)

Not a great movie by any means but a very nice little gem especially if you are a VL fam.

paid for by the Catherine Bell & Carla Gugino campaign for President and Vice President.

- Libby trashing Charles's room, because he wanted to teach her a lesson, his reaction, “Trouble about education is, it comes expensive.“ Ouch. How ambiguous can it get.
- The 3rd stanza of Kipling's “If“, although only Charles speaks (except for three words), they are indeed reciting it together. I melted.

Definitely a gem, and no doubt Selznick liked what he saw in it.
