shareIn this film, John Wayne is beautiful!! Back in the early 90's when I started to collect B Westerns, I found a coffee mug at Disney World in Orlando. It was John Wayne in this outfit from "Santa Fe Stampede", or one of the Mesquiteers films, walking thru a door in that hat, shirt, and gun. I loved that coffee mug. Very 'B Western'. I believe John Wayne wore the same gun rig from the Lone Star Films (1933-35) until True Grit. Does anyone know that's true?? Seems I read it somewhere. John
