Lana Turner Shines!

The best thing about this movie is seeing Lana Turner in an early role when she hadn't moved up to leading lady status. Here she was 17 years old, but it's evident that she will be a star. She just has that quality. You can't help but notice her in every scene, even though she shares most of her scenes with 5 to 7 other people. Ruth Hussey is fine but Lana really jumps off the screen.
