where are 3 musicians?

Was an episode with a Russian, Italian, and British musician originally included in this film, but in a later shortening (perhaps for TV showings?) that musical interlude was cut out? Or was such a musical episode scripted and shot, but left on the cutting room floor originally (never shown to the public)?--S.P.Hill.
