shareOf course that was their name in the orig script. "Hamilton" is a common surname, and I'm sure it's not the only time that some actor with a common surname was cast in a picture with characters bearing the same surname.
Barbara Stanwyck twice played a character named Jessica Drummond -- very different characters, 11 years apart. If no studio person was going to change the char. name to avoid a weird repetition, it's certain that no one would *intentionally* change a character name as a nod to a minor actress.
