sooo good

i just finished watching marie antoinette for the first time and i gladly admit that i cried like a little baby during the last 20 mins or so. i started to watch it with the idea that it would make me hate m.a. because i thought she was a snobby selfish brat with no feelings, the movie portrayed her in a completely new way for me. it was a great movie.

I thought it was so great. I cried through the whole end. Mostly the part when her little boy is being taken away. I thought Norma Shear did a amazing job...sadly I don't think that the new movie will be as this good.

I first saw this movie about two and a half years ago, and I loved every minute of it! I just bought it on DVD and I am so excited to rejourney into this film!

This was one of the first "classic era" movies I ever saw almost 30 years ago - loved it then, love it now.

A really great movie! I am to be Queen of France! Ha! I little too much Queen stuff. Norma was at her best here. In glorious black n white! Can watch over n over!

I've seen it several times and it never fails to impress me. Norma blew me away in the later part of the film. She was truly special and this was her finest hour.
