'Norman' or 'Arlen'?

Are the owners of the "Arlen Diary Inc." named Mr Arlen Sr. (played by George Irving) and Bill Arlen Jr. (Allen "Rocky" Lane)? Or is their surname "Norman" (Mr Norman Sr. and Jr.)? Both surnames, Norman and Arlen, crop up at different points in this film. Maybe there's some explanation for this contradiction that I missed...? -- Steven P Hill.

Mr. Norman probably worked for the Arlen Diary when he started out as a milkman, and bought the company years later. My guess is that he didn't change the name of the company because of the goodwill the company had built over the years.
