Hi,one can never be too rich or have too many friends. Whatever name he went by,Mr. Blackwell had tiny,uncredited part in this mini-epic and wasn't a member of the dead end kids like he claimed in his biography. Websites devoted to the gang have confirmed this.
Mr Blackwell is indeed in this film. His charactors name is "Bud" and is billed as Richard Seltser. If my recall of this film is correct, he is briefly seen early on the film and he is one Billy Halops former pals who taunt in the schoolyard when they learn is father is on trial for murder.
