I can't get over that terrible little boy, killing a mother skunk with her babies all around her. It was really sad thinking that all the little baby skunks would probably die without her to feed them, and I had a hard time enjoying the movie afterwards.
shareI don't think the skunk died. The arrow had a rubber stopper on the end of it, which certainly couldn't kill anything.
The arrow had a huge rubber suction tip on the end it; couldn't kill anything - plus the skunk sprays the kid after he hits it... can't direct the spray if it's dead :) The skunk lived, and went on to co-star in Bambi! Happy ending!
