The name on the window

How did it disappear just like that?

reply

Because the train went into a tunnel. There was no backlight.

reply

I suppose the change in temperature when they headed inside the tunnel caused the condensation to disappear? I'm not a physicist so 

reply

No, it's because the tunnel was dark and the writing was no longer backlit.

Apparently Iris wasn't the brightest bulb in the chandelier.

What are these people talking about. The name disappeared when the train came out if the tunnel. Idiots.

reply

You call them "idiots" but don't seem bright yourself and don't give no answer: "The name disappeared when the train came out if the tunnel. " so what? and I suppose you meant "of" the tunnel not "if".
Why the name should have disappeared?
I think the best explanation is Rex 16's one, even if condensation should not have affected letters drawn on a dusty inside glass that much.
