Danny Kaye is an extra (spoilers)

Toward the end of the movie, when the men in the bar are making bets about Buck Cantrell and Ted Dillard, Danny Kaye is the one on the far left. He's got a cigar in his mouth and a bit of a French accent to boot. The camera pans across a little guy who looks like Anthony Quinn, then Danny, then to Dr. Livingson and Pres.

Alas, he's not credited, but it's definitely Danny Kaye!

I just watched the scene in question. That is NOT Danny Kaye! The extra has a SLIGHT resemblance to Kaye, but it's not him. In the late 30s, Kaye made some two-reelers in New York, but he didn't go to Hollywood until the mid 40s.

What makes people post stupid threads like this one?

The nose doesn't have the right "shape," but it does look like him and sound like him a bit. Creepy.
